Abandoned Circuit Nivelles-Baulers LIVE Vlog [REPLAY]

Abandoned Circuit Nivelles-Baulers LIVE Vlog. On September 22, 2018 I visited the abandoned Nivelles-Baulers Circuit in Belgium. I did here a live vlog from wich you see the replay here. Nivelles-Baulers was a race track that hosted the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix twice. Both races were won by Emerson Fittipaldi. The track opened in 1971 and closed in 1981 because of financial trouble. The Nivelles-Baulers Circuit was only 3.7 Km long, because the circuit owners couldn't buy the nessacary land. They want to built the full track in two phases, so a shorter version opened first. But when the track was open, the land owner want more money for the ground for the proposed extension. That was too much, and so the Nivelles-Baulers Circuit was never finished. After it's closure in 1981 it was used for illegal racing. In 1998 they start with the preparation works to redevolep the abandoned circuit into a business park. Todat a part of the circuit is still there and overgrown. But it will be a question of time beforethe last remains if the Nivelles-Baulers Circuit will be gone and part of the business park. In this live vlog I show you the abandoned remains of the track and the part wich is now public road. Thanks for watching this video.
