Mettet Circuit Onboard POV Layout 1991 - 2009 with map

Mettet circuit, layout 1991 - 2009. An onboard lap at the Mettet street circuit, with map and indicator. We drive the second version of the 5.5 Km/3.4 Miles long track. The street circuit included some artificial high banked corners. That made it a street circuit with the character of a permanent race track. In 1991 the fast and dangerous descent to Mettet was cut off. There were also chicanes added to the circuit, which were not used for every class. The Mettet circuit is most known for it's motorcycle races, but in the 50's there were also Formual Two races. Under the winners names like Alberto Ascari and Stirling Moss. This fast street circuit in Belgium was operational from 1928 to 2009. Today it is replaced by a permanent race track inside the old street circuit. Thanks for watching this video.
